It’s the last week of my first trimester today, which is pretty exciting. It feels like it’s going so slowly but at the same time I’m already one third of the way through my pregnancy. I’m not going to lie, even though billions of people have done it before me, actually having a baby forming inside of you makes you feel like the smartest person on the planet. As soon as you seen that baby up there on the ultra-sound screen you think to yourself “Yeah, I did that, no biggie” and hearing your child’s heartbeat for the first time is just amazing. Instantly I felt something I had never felt so much before, it was eternal love. Pregnancy is such a spiritual thing, you just feel this ultimate connection with something only you can feel. It’s amazing :)
